Great spot to have lunch! Tried this place out while passing through and ended up getting the Mahi tacos and a rueben. My order got mixed up and I ended up getting a turkey club but the mistake was remedied quickly and I got the club sandwich for free. Nice atmosphere and friendly servers. I'd definitely stop in again!
This is a solid place to grab some food if you’re in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Atmosphere feels like a traditional restaurant that has a bar; with booths and hightop tables. There are a few TVs and some unique wall hangings. Party started with the spicy fried pickles (not much spice). Then we tried the mahi tacos, hot honey bourbon wings, fries, onion rings, and the no legs to stand on veggie burger. All food was good; the wings were the best (fried hard and sauce was great). Lightly battered fries were tasty but the veggie burger was nothing to write home about. The mahi tacos were flavorful. Overall it was a good visit with many options for various dietary needs/preferences. Coke products always a plus.
Stopped in at Dog and Duck in Charleston and had the fish and chips—absolutely fantastic! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky inside, and the fries were golden and seasoned just right. Great pub-style atmosphere with friendly service and a relaxed vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll be visiting again next time I’m in town!
I was eating solo with my pup outside. The waitress was fantastic as was the food and drinks. She was also serving a large party on the patio as well but she never made me wait. My only complaint was the water bowl they brought for my pup was very dirty. Luckily, I always bring my own just in case. I would definitely eat here again.
If you’re looking for a spot that juggles trivia night chaos with flawless service, this is it. We came in on a busy Thursday evening, and from the moment we sat down, I knew we were in good hands. We didn’t hold back on the menu, a 12‑count of crispy wings, chips with salsa and queso, a BLT with creamy potato salad, and the grand finale, a slice of red velvet cake that tasted like a hug from the South. My fiancé grabbed a Guinness, and I went with the Poolside, which arrived floating in a little inflatable duck. (Yes, the duck is yours to keep. I gifted mine to the little girl at the table next to us, and her smile was just as good as dessert.) I swear the food hit our table within 5–10 minutes after we ordered, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. What really impressed me was the staff. No one was standing around, servers were in constant motion, and the managers weren’t just supervising, they were stepping in to lend helping hands, asking how things were going, and even saying goodbye as we walked out. That level of attention on a packed trivia night is rare and deserves credit. Busy night, fun atmosphere, great food, and service that makes you feel like a VIP. Highly recommend, and order the Poolside drink. Your duck might just make someone’s night. Thank you Kendra, our server, and whoever the manager was there in all black and the black ball cap!
Cheese curds were excellent. Wings super crispy. Nashville dry rub could've been spicier but great overall. Hayden gave fantastic service. The cookie monster martini was fun & delicious.
